Travel Project First Quarter 2024: Week 4

Traveling for work can be exhausting without issues but if there are travel issues, it does make it even more exhausting.  Fortunately, I am happy to report that it was smooth sailing relative to my work travel this week.  I will summarize my flight, hotel, rental car, and food options for week 4 of this project.

First, all of my flights arrived on time so I was able to make all connecting flights and arrived in my final destinations as expected.  Of course, it’s not perfect as my return initial flight was delayed 30 minutes but a 30 minute delay with a two and a half hour layover is not an issue.  I am grateful for this blessing.

Second, my second week at this Hilton was as expected.  No cleanliness issues.  Customer service was great.  My room was nice and quiet.

Third, I was finally able to get a non-SUV but full size car.  I don’t like to drive SUV so I was very happy to get a full size car this week.

Lastly, the food for this week was good and bad.  The cafeteria food selection is becoming tiresome.  The best food for week 4 was the seafood boil and the pad Thai.

Again, I am grateful to have a good travel work week.  I appreciate my time home and also being able to go help out the client by being onsite.
